    Thanks for the turnip risotto recipe. I'm going to make it. I don't think I've ever cooked a turnip. Do they need to be peeled?

  2. No. We will hang it in the basement. We'll cover it with lard to keep it moist then pack it in black pepper to keep the bugs away.

    Definitely peel the turnips. The recipe came from the Mario book that you told me to buy.
